These three support points do not form a straight line in space, so the technical requirements for making this sofa are high, and it is also difficult to choose when purchasing. To make a wooden frame for a high back sofa, it is necessary to clearly mark the turning surface composed of three points on the frame, otherwise it will be difficult to ensure the position of the support points during sofa covering and other processes, which will bring discomfort to the user. When choosing a high back sofa, attention should be paid to whether the composition of the three support points on the back is reasonable and appropriate, which can be judged by testing the seat. The high back sofa evolved from a lounge chair. To improve resting performance, it can also be equipped with a footstool, which can be placed in front of the sofa and its height can be the same as the front edge height of the sofa seat.
Ordinary sofa: It is a common type of sofa used in households. Most of the sofas sold in the market are of this type. It has two support points to support the user's lumbar and thoracic vertebrae, which can achieve a curved effect that matches the back of the body. The angle between the backrest and the seat surface of this type of sofa is crucial. If the angle is too large or too small, it will cause the user's abdominal muscles to become strong, leading to fatigue. Similarly, the width of the sofa seat should not be too large, usually within 540 millimeters according to standard requirements, so that the user's calves can adjust their sitting posture freely and rest more comfortably.
